The inspiration behind this design is the need to tell the story of a turtle carrying a child on its back while introducing them to a Canary Island banana. The entire packaging is designed using just two colors, black and yellow, with white serving as the transparent color of the container. These three colors form the basis of the entire design.
The chosen typography is derived from the common markings found on piles of bananas leaving the Canary Islands on pallets destined for the world, setting their language apart from other international exports.
"Ready to eat" is a necessary message to convey that people don't need to cook the product; it's ready for consumption."
