Packaging Design / Labeling / Product Concept
In 2013, I was invited to design the packaging for a new line of Italian body shower gels by Skin&Co – a collection of more than 10 different products crafted for luxurious and natural skincare in the shower.
This project was an opportunity to merge sensorial aesthetics with artisanal Italian tradition. The collection finally launched globally in 2024 through the brand’s official website and Amazon.
Label Design
The labels were printed on metallic material, and I took advantage of this base to create visual depth and luminosity. By selectively omitting the white underlayer, certain parts of the color became metallic, enhancing the product's premium look and giving each bottle a unique glow depending on light and movement.
Box Design
For the outer packaging, I made a bold decision: using the interior of the cardboard facing outwards. This allowed the natural texture of the material to become a key visual and tactile element, reinforcing the product’s artisanal, raw, and clean positioning. The result is a rustic yet refined aesthetic that speaks to the product’s handcrafted Italian essence.
Outcome
The collection stands as a celebration of scent, simplicity, and thoughtful design. From the graphic system to the material finishes, every choice was made to honor the sensory experience of using the product — both in and out of the shower.
